To some folks life's a worry
And daily care a grind,
But it was harder on my savior
And He didn't seem to mind.
He went about His duties
Where'er the Spirit led,
And always did the Father's will
Though the cross lay just ahead.
For the joy that was set before Him,
He died a death of shame;
The joy of taking us home to God,
Who call upon His name.
So with joy, then let us follow;
We'll find it's like He said,
His yoke is easy, His burden is light,
And heaven's just ahead.
