"Do unto others", Jesus said,
"As you would have them do unto you",
But someone spoke an angry word,
And I spoke in anger too!

"If someone makes you go a mile,
Then travel with him twain."
But I tried to make a friend return,
And walk the first with me again!

He said to love your enemy,
But I misused a friend,
I'm glad my savior's not like me,
But will stand by me 'til the end.

Though we're weak and often fail Him,
And sometimes act the fool,
Aren't you glad our Jesus,
Never breaks the Golden Rule?!
